The Associates of The Gambia, give thanks!

 

On the occasion of the thanksgiving for the Canonization of Mother Rivier, the Marie Rivier Associates of Bakau in The Gambia organized a wonderful event with tremendous joy and generosity!

The canonization of St Marie River has left in the hearts of the associates an unspeakable joy! The Lord has done wonders through the life of St. Marie River. In order to celebrate well the associates made a heart-touching gesture, by inviting the home bounds in the area for a day of celebrating Christmas in honor of Saint Marie River.

The day began with an opening prayer of healing and wholeness led by sister Michelle Kujabi. After the prayer, Sr. Marie Solange Badji introduced the occasion and welcomed all on this wonderful day! She expressed how happy she is to see them gracing the occasion. She assured them of a grace-filled celebration and invited them to feel at home and enjoy themselves.

And indeed, it was a day of caring and sharing, a day full of joy and excitement. Everybody felt at home and tremendously enjoyed the celebration of Christmas 2022.

We sincerely thank the associates for remembering the home bounds, who have a special place in the heart of St. Marie Rivier and in God’s family. May God who sees their deep generosity bless them a hundredfold.

Marie Rivier’s website is created to cover the Canonization events of the Congregation and afterward remains to be a content website for our Saint Marie Rivier. She lived a communicative faith.
